euGEAT™ Data Shows Job Retention Rates 30% Higher Among High-Scoring Applicants

New data confirms what employers have long suspected: top-performing euGEAT™ candidates are 30% more likely to stay in their roles. Based on outcomes from over 7,500 placements, this study highlights how behavioral traits like discipline, safety focus, and adaptability drive long-term success in Europe’s non-office sectors.

A new impact study conducted by the euGEAT™ Research Division reveals that foreign workers who score in the top performance tiers of the General Employment Aptitude Test (euGEAT™) show 30% higher job retention rates compared to lower-scoring candidates.

The study — based on employment outcomes from over 7,500 euGEAT™-certified workers placed in European non-office roles during 2023–2024 — confirms that behavioral and workplace aptitude assessments can predict long-term employment success, especially in physical, task-based sectors like construction, logistics, agriculture, and hospitality.

Key Findings at a Glance

The data was gathered from 49 agencies and employers across 9 EU countries, including Germany, Romania, Poland, Portugal, and Croatia.

What Does It Mean?

The correlation between euGEAT™ performance and real-world retention suggests that soft behavioral indicators — such as reliability, instruction-following, and workplace attitude — are more predictive of job success than education level or technical skill alone in many labor-intensive roles.

“In logistics and construction especially, a worker’s mindset is just as important as muscle,” said Tomas Varga, an HR coordinator for a multinational logistics firm in Hungary. “euGEAT™ has helped us find people who not only qualify but stay.”

Why Aptitude Matters

The euGEAT™ does not test intelligence or academic knowledge, but instead measures:

  • Responsibility & attendance behavior

  • Teamwork and communication willingness

  • Reaction to routine and repetitive tasks

  • Awareness of safety and instruction-following

  • Emotional control under stress

These traits directly align with the daily requirements of most non-office jobs — where stability, reliability, and safe conduct are essential.

Employer Impact

Employers using euGEAT™ as part of their hiring process reported:

  • Reduced early turnover rates

  • Lower training costs due to faster onboarding

  • Improved safety outcomes in high-risk environments

  • More confident selection of overseas candidates

What’s Next?

This data supports the broader movement across the EU to prioritize behavioral screening tools in legal labor mobility programs. Several national employment agencies are currently reviewing proposals to include euGEAT™ scores in their cross-border recruitment frameworks.

“Evidence like this confirms that fair and ethical worker selection doesn’t just protect workers — it also creates value for employers and society,” said Miriam Duarte, a labor mobility researcher at the University of Lisbon.
