The euGEAT™ Accreditation Office has officially announced the Annual euGEAT™ Conference 2025, set to take place on October 21–22 in Lisbon, Portugal. This year’s event will gather a global network of employers, recruitment agencies, educational institutions, government representatives, and labor mobility experts to discuss the future of workforce assessment and ethical cross-border hiring.

The conference will focus on the expanding role of the General Employment Aptitude Test (euGEAT™) in supporting fair, transparent, and effective international employment practices — particularly in non-office sectors such as construction, logistics, hospitality, and agriculture.

Why Lisbon?

Lisbon was selected as this year’s host city for its growing importance as a hub for European labor policy dialogue and international collaboration. Portugal has become an active participant in structured labor mobility agreements and has seen rising demand for reliable, skills-based screening tools like euGEAT™.

Looking Ahead

The Annual euGEAT™ Conference is part of the organization’s ongoing mission to build stronger, evidence-based bridges between labor-sending countries and European employers. The 2024 conference in Warsaw attracted over 400 attendees from 22 countries — and this year’s edition in Lisbon is expected to exceed that number.

“We believe workforce testing must support fairness, dignity, and opportunity,” said a spokesperson for the Accreditation Office. “euGEAT™ isn’t just a test — it’s a global standard helping people access better jobs through transparency and trust.”
